Dr. Sara Brooks

Dr. Sara Brooks, MD

Board-Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Sara Brooks is a board-certified dermatologist and Maryland native from St. Mary's County. She attended the Honors College at University of Maryland, College Park, where she obtained both a Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology and a Master's degree in Management and Organization.

She completed medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, where she was inducted into AOA, the prestigious medical honor society. After graduation, she performed a medical internship at Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr. Brooks returned to the DC area as a resident in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology at Georgetown University and Washington Hospital Center, where she served as Chief Resident of Dermatology. She also completed a Melanoma Fellowship at the Washington Cancer Institute.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. Dr. Brooks is dedicated to providing comprehensive dermatological care with a focus on both medical and cosmetic treatments.

Dr. Marsha Mitchum

Dr. Marsha D. Mitchum, MD, MPH

Board-Certified Clinical Dermatologist

Dr. Marsha Mitchum is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in medical and oncologic dermatology. Before entering medicine, she served in the United States Air Force as a KC-135 pilot and instructor, completing assignments across Europe and the Pacific. She later transitioned to medicine, serving as a Flight Surgeon and Dermatologist at several major military medical centers.

Dr. Mitchum completed her Dermatology Residency with the National Capital Consortium and a Fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard University. She also worked as a Medical Officer in the Division of Oncology at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where she contributed to national cancer drug evaluation and clinical research oversight.

Her clinical interests include general medical dermatology, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, and complex skin disorders. At Montgomery Medical Clinic Dermatology, Dr. Mitchum is dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate care—combining her background in medicine, oncology, and aviation to deliver precise, patient-centered treatment.
